Website development and marketing agency

An email marketing agency for a list you own, not an audience you rent.

Tech Conversion is an email marketing agency for businesses in India, the UAE and the USA that collect email addresses and never use them, setting up sending so mail actually arrives, then writing the welcome sequence and regular campaigns and reporting on clicks, replies and sales.

Newsletters, sequences and campaigns to people who asked to hear from you. The one channel no platform can take away, priced on the list you build rather than the reach you buy.

  • Deliverability set up properly
  • Platform setup
  • A welcome sequence
  • Regular sending

Typical timelineTwo to three weeks for authentication, setup and the welcome sequence. Sending is then monthly and continuous.

Who needs this

You collect addresses and then never use them.

The form works. Addresses arrive. They sit in a spreadsheet or a platform nobody logs into, and the only message those people ever get is a receipt. Meanwhile the same business pays to reach strangers on platforms that keep raising the price.

  • You have a list and do not use it

The most common case, and the cheapest to fix, because the expensive part is already done.

  • Your reach on social keeps falling

You are renting an audience and the rent keeps going up.

  • Enquiries go quiet and nobody follows up

A sequence does what a busy person keeps meaning to do.

  • You sell to the same people repeatedly

Ecommerce, services with renewals, anything with a second purchase in it.

  • There is a list and nothing has been sent to it this year
  • Nobody knows whether your sending domain is set up properly
  • Enquiries go cold and nothing follows up
  • Your reach on social keeps falling and the answer is always more budget

What the work is

Our email marketing services: what is in, and what is not

Said in both directions, so nothing is waiting to be added once the work has started.

Included, every time

  1. 01
    Deliverability set up properly

SPF, DKIM and DMARC records configured and verified, because an email that lands in spam was not sent.

  2. 02
    Platform setup

Configured on your account, in your name, with your data. You own it if we stop working together.

  3. 03
    A welcome sequence

What somebody receives in the days after they join, which is when they are most likely to read it.

  4. 04
    Regular sending

A newsletter or campaign on a rhythm you can sustain, written rather than templated.

  5. 05
    Segmentation

Different messages to customers, enquiries and subscribers, because they are not the same people.

  6. 06
    Reporting on replies

Deliveries, clicks, replies and unsubscribes. Open rates are reported with a caveat, because privacy features made them unreliable.

Not included

  • Buying or renting email lists, which we will not do
  • The email platform's own subscription fees
  • Transactional email from your application, which is a development task
  • Cold outreach to people who did not opt in

What changes

What you get out of it

For the business, not for the website. What we do is the previous section; this is what it is for.

  • You own the channel

No platform can reduce your reach or raise your price. The list is yours.

  • Email actually arrives

Authentication set up properly is the difference between sending and delivering.

  • Nothing goes cold by accident

A sequence follows up on the days a person is busy.

  • You can tell what worked

Reported on replies and clicks, which are real, rather than opens, which are not any more.

What it is held to

Standards and frameworks

Named, published and checkable. These are the frameworks the work is built to and tested against, not badges we claim.

  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC

The three published records that let a receiving server verify an email really came from your domain. Without them, mail is increasingly rejected outright rather than filtered.

  • Google and Yahoo bulk sender requirements

Since 2024 both require authentication, one click unsubscribe and a spam rate below a published threshold for anyone sending in volume.

  • India DPDP Act 2023

Consent has to be free, specific, informed and withdrawable. Practically: a real opt in, and an unsubscribe that works first time.

How it runs

Email campaign management, step by step

Six steps, and what each one hands you at the end of it.

  1. 01

    Understand

Who is on the list, how they joined, what they have bought, and how much you can realistically send.

You getA short plan: the segments, the sequence and the sending rhythm.

  2. 02

    Authenticate

SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your sending domain, verified by test sends before anything goes out.

You getRecords in place and a verification report.

  3. 03

    Set up

Platform configured on your account, list imported and cleaned, segments defined.

You getA working platform you own.

  4. 04

    Sequence

The welcome series written and scheduled, because that is where most of the value sits.

    You getA live sequence.

  5. 05

    Send and report

    The regular rhythm, measured monthly.

You getA report on deliveries, clicks, replies and unsubscribes.

  6. 06

    Improve

Subject lines, timing and content tested, and the sequence rewritten where people stop reading.

You getA revised sequence and a note on what the tests showed.

What lands, and what you bring

Deliverables, timeline and what we need from you

You receive

  • Verified SPF, DKIM and DMARC records
  • A configured platform on your own account
  • A written welcome sequence
  • A sending calendar
  • Monthly reporting on deliveries, clicks, replies and unsubscribes

How long

Two to three weeks for authentication, setup and the welcome sequence. Sending is then monthly and continuous.

You bring

  • Access to your domain's DNS records
  • The existing list, however messy
  • One person who can approve a send
  • A clear opt in on the site, which we will fix if it is missing

What it costs

Priced as a digital marketing engagement

Priced as a monthly marketing engagement based on how often you send and how many segments. Setup and authentication are done once at the start. The email platform's own fee is paid by you, directly, and is not marked up.

Starts from

₹22,000/month

$500 a month if you pay from outside India.

Monthly, rolling

All three engagements, side by side

What moves the figure

  • How often you send
  • How many segments and sequences
  • Whether the list needs cleaning first
  • Whether ecommerce automations are involved

A written quote follows the strategy discussion. Nothing is added afterwards that was not named in it.

Where it goes wrong

Common mistakes, risks and pitfalls

The mistakes we see most, including ones we have made. Worth knowing before you buy this from anyone.

  1. Sending before authenticating

The fastest way to train the major providers to treat your domain as spam, and it is hard to undo.

  2. Buying a list

Illegal in several markets, ineffective everywhere, and it damages the domain you send from afterwards.

  3. One message to everybody

A customer, an enquiry and a subscriber are three different relationships receiving the same email.

  4. Judging success on open rates

Privacy features load images automatically, which registers as an open. The number looks good and means very little.

The honest comparison

Before you hire an email marketing company, the alternatives

Including the options where you do not hire us. One of them is right for some readers of this page.

  • Do nothing with the list

You do not sell repeatedly and have nothing to say.

Free, and an asset left unused.

  • Send it yourself

Somebody internal enjoys it and will keep it up.

A platform fee, and the authentication still has to be right.

  • Spend more on ads instead

You need volume now and have no list worth using.

Faster, and it stops when the budget does.

  • Email from us

There is a list, or there should be, and nobody is looking after it.

A monthly engagement, plus your own platform fee.

Proof

What this looks like in practice

This is a new service page and there is no email case study behind it yet. The site does run its own newsletter, so the authentication, the consent handling and the unsubscribe flow described here are ones we operate rather than only recommend.

Questions

Email marketing agency questions, answered

The things people ask about email marketing before they buy it.

  • What does an email marketing agency do?

Sets up your sending domain so mail is delivered rather than filtered, configures the platform on your own account, writes the welcome sequence and the regular campaigns, segments the list so different people get different messages, and reports on what happened.

  • Will you buy me an email list?

No. Bought lists are unlawful in several markets, they do not work, and sending to them damages the domain you send from afterwards. Building a list is slower and it is the only version that pays.

  • Why do you set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC first?

Because since 2024 Google and Yahoo require authentication from anyone sending in volume, and unauthenticated mail is increasingly rejected rather than filtered. An email in the spam folder was not sent, whatever the platform reports.

  • Do I own the platform and the list?

Yes. The platform is set up on your account in your name, and the list is your data. If we stop working together you keep both, with no export request needed.

  • Why do you not report open rates?

We report them with a caveat. Privacy features on major mail clients load tracking images automatically, which registers as an open by somebody who never read it. Clicks, replies and unsubscribes are still real, so those are what the report leads with.

  • How often should we send?

Whatever you can sustain. Monthly, consistently, beats weekly for two months and then silence. The rhythm is agreed at the start against what you can actually supply.

  • Do we need a newsletter marketing agency or an email marketing agency?

Usually the same team. A newsletter is one kind of email; welcome sequences and campaigns are others. What matters is that sending is set up properly and somebody writes on a rhythm you can keep, which is what we do for all three.

  • Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. We work from Chennai as an email marketing agency. India, the UAE and the USA are our main markets, and the platform, the list and the reports always sit in your own name.

  • Can you guarantee sales from email?

No. Results depend on your list, your offer and how often people buy from you, and a small list sends small results. What we promise is sending set up so mail arrives, a welcome sequence and campaigns written for your segments, and reports on clicks, replies and sales rather than flattering open rates.
